BWP marine and fire - retardant grade, IS 5590

Tulip Fire Retardant plywood is made by treating the core and plywood with suitable chemicals under VPT wherever required, making the plywood fire safe. Fire Retardant Plywood prevents the deadly transition of a spark or an ember into a flame. Our product comprises qualities of extreme low flammability and flame penetration. Our plywood is a combination of both waterproof and fire resistant. It is self extinguishable and avoids structural collapse by maintaining structural integrity. Our product is approved by ARAI.

Features & Properties:
  • RATE OF BURNING: It takes 30 minutes for fire to spread over the surface of the plywood
  • LOW FLAMMABILITY: It takes 35 minutes for flame to spread along the surface of the material and start a sequence of ignitions in the surroundings
  • FLAME PENETRATION: It takes over 45 minutes for flames to penetrate through a sheet
  • LOWER SMOKE GENERATION & LESS TOXIC GAS EMISSION: Due to enhanced fire-retardant chemicals
  • NO DELAMINATION OF PLIES: Fire retardant ply absorbs very little moisture from the surroundings
  • Nano - engineered particles for enhanced fire resistance
  • IS : 5509 Compliant & Conforming To Astm E84 Standard - American society for testing & materials
